Ingredients
  • 2.5cups all purpose flour
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • 1/4cup sugar
  • 1/4cup vegetable oil
  • 2.5cups water
Instructions
  1. Heat your waffle iron on the highest heat setting. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl, add the sugar and mix. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and add the oil and water. Whisk everything together until a smooth batter has formed. Grease your waffle iron if necessary and add the batter in suitable amounts. Cook for 7-10 minutes (these may take slightly longer than waffles with egg in the batter). We served ours with maple syrup and vegan margarine. Enjoy!
