The perfect Sunday breakfast, these waffles are super easy to make and you won’t even miss the egg in the mixture.
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2.5 cups water
Servings: people
Instructions
- Heat your waffle iron on the highest heat setting. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl, add the sugar and mix. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and add the oil and water. Whisk everything together until a smooth batter has formed. Grease your waffle iron if necessary and add the batter in suitable amounts. Cook for 7-10 minutes (these may take slightly longer than waffles with egg in the batter). We served ours with maple syrup and vegan margarine. Enjoy!
