Vegan beer bread

This beer bread is super delicious, doesn’t require any yeast (or rising time) and it only uses a few ingredients.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups all purpose flour (sifted)
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 330ml can beer
  • 1/4 cup melted vegan butter
Servings: loaf
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 190˚C. Mix all the ingredients, except the butter, in a large bowl.
  2. Grease a loaf tin with a little of the melted butter, pour in the batter, and pour the melted butter over the top.
  3. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove from the pan and let it cool on a rack. Slice and serve warm.

    Made this today. Super easy. Added some garlice and rosemary to recipe. Smells delicious…. great recipe to whip up quickly if people turn up for dinner or a lunch.
