Ingredients
For the burger
  • 4 vegan “beef” patties
  • 2slices vegan cheddar cheese*
  • 1cup shredded lettuce
  • 2tbsp finely diced white onion
  • 4 pickle slices
  • 3 sesame seed hamburger buns
For the special sauce
  • 1/4cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1/2tsp onion powder
  • 1/2tsp garlic powder
  • 2tbsp minced dill pickles
  • 1tsp sugar
Instructions
  1. Cook the vegan patties according to packet instructions.
  2. While the patties cook prepare the special sauce by thoroughly mixing all of the ingredients together.
  3. Cut two of the hamburger buns in half and slice the top off the third hamburger bun and then slice the bun in half to create the two middle buns of the burger.
  4. To assemble the burger spoon about a tablespoon of the special sauce onto the bottom bun then sprinkle with some diced onion and shredded lettuce. Next, add the slice of cheese, the pickles and the patty. Place the middle bun on, add another of tablespoon of special sauce, more onion, lettuce, another patty and of course the top bun!

* We used Wilmersburger Cheddar Style slices, this is the best vegan cheese brand I’ve found in Europe so far, tastes like the real deal!
