Easy vegan rice crispy treats
organic brown rice crispies
(almond butter, peanut butter etc.)
sticky liquid sweetener
(brown rice syrup, date syrup, maple syrup)
Prepare a tray with baking paper or lightly grease it with oil.
Add the nut butter, sweetener and vanilla essence to a small sauce pan over low heat. Heat for a few minutes until the mixture has come together and is very runny.
Add the rice crispies to a bowl and pour over the liquid mixture. Stir through to coat all the rice crispies.
Press the mixture very firmly into the tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
