These rice crispy treats are so much healthier than the store bought version, they only require 4 ingredients and you can whip them up in no time at all.
Ingredients
- 3 cup organic brown rice crispies
- 1/3 cup nut butter (almond butter, peanut butter etc.)
- 1/3 cup sticky liquid sweetener (brown rice syrup, date syrup, maple syrup)
- 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions
- Prepare a tray with baking paper or lightly grease it with oil.
- Add the nut butter, sweetener and vanilla essence to a small sauce pan over low heat. Heat for a few minutes until the mixture has come together and is very runny.
- Add the rice crispies to a bowl and pour over the liquid mixture. Stir through to coat all the rice crispies.
- Press the mixture very firmly into the tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
